95 secs a lap so 95 x 6 laps = 570 secs
570secs/ 60 secs a minute= 9.5

9.5 divided by 6 = 1.583 mins per lap, = 1m 34.98s or 1m 35s.

when i joined i did it in 7m52....

training on a track mate your not doing yourself justice get out in the sticks over proper terrain with a rucksack 30kg in and build those legs then when it comes to your mile and half you will have no drama`s attall.

also you want to be aiming alot quicker tbh mate. if i can remember right the pass mark was 9min11 but if you was strong on your back pulls it gave you an allowence to 9min30. iirc..

its to do with the units you are working in mate, ie:there are 60 seconds to a minute not 100 as in a decimal so:

1.5 min =1 min 30 seconds
1.8 min= 1 min 48 seconds

or if you were to take 35 seconds X 6 = 210 seconds divide by 60 = 3.5 mins (3 minutes 30 seconds) add the 6 x 1 minutes to 3.5 minutes gives you 9.5minutes (9 minutes 30 seconds.)

hope this helps

Because you firstly need to find out what percentage of a minute 35seconds is, so you do 35/60 = 0.5833333333. So 1.583333333 x 6 = 9.5

You need to factor in the depletion of your energy.

The average lap time would be 1m35 but you will prob need to do the first few laps a lot quicker to take into account the fatigue.

BUT...

In all honesty I am 29 and do no phys but I'm not a chubber and I could run a mile and a half on the flat round a track in the time you have said no probs.
