its about 10 mins past the bridge picture i posted ( sheffield side ) as you look at the piccys of the road on the corner theres a big car park there so you can just park up and walk up there or cross the road and do the other walk, i couldnt get right to the top because of the snow/ice i did try but slipped about 15foot so decided to give it a miss

Been over many times. Used to regularly park just up from the Snake inn, in the winter, and walk over Kinder Scout. The scenery out there is breathtaking, even more so in winter! Kinder falls all frozen - outstanding. The road itself is a lovelly driving road.

Drove it last night for the 1st time and it was a brilliant road, couldnt go as quick as I wanted as it was seriously foggy so also didnt get to see any views either.
Will be going back for a trip when the weather perks up

just be wary that its heavily camera'd ,
usually in the layby after the first long straight heading from ladybower to glossop, but more recently tucked away in a small pull in on other side in a old green merc sprinter, looks like a scruffy builders van with black rear windows with a lens poking out.
