secondly; if this bloke punched you in the face; that is called assault - i would report it to the police; inform your manager and HR of the incident.

if you do that it will probably delay the inevitable losing your job

no i didnt. problem is; its a very close working enviroment. id prefer not to cause a fuss tbh. sounds stupid but hes best mates with my manager, we are all close to redunency, i dont want to give them any excuse to lose him or me.

it took a lot for me to not do anythng, just sat there and got frustrated lol

its contract, ive not been there long and the company is folding slowly but surely.

reporting him isnt what i want to do. tbh, he did it infront of 5 or 6 ppl, im supprised they didnt.

i spose, but we are a very close nit team. before this, we all got on well, would have a laugh and a joke. i dont really wanna take that away from my other collegues as doing that ( reporting etc) will inevitably do.

dont really expect ppl to understand the reasoning. i guess u would have to work in the enviroment i am in to see what i mean. if i didnt give a shite about them, theni would go all out. i dont wna make the next few weeks mega akward

Just lost 47 people at my work on friday and it's horrid but it's all done to headcount and him leaving will save someone no doubt - He's lost his right of employment in my opinion
