Default Toothbrushes

What does everyone on here use and what do they recommend? Last few I've tried have been total bollocks and irritating my gums and just can't seem to find one that I like or doesn't kill my gums every time I brush. What about those expensive electric ones, they actually worth it? What do we think?

Cheers!

My dentist told me to get an Oral B 3000 as they're supposed to be good for sensitive gums. It has a pressure thing in it that stops you brushing too hard [slows down if you scrub and press too hard]. It also has a 2 minute timer broken up every 30 seconds by a change in vibration, so that you cover the 4 areas of your mouth equally.

My missus got herself the model below that though which was a bit cheaper and does the same thing.

I've also heard the Sonics are the best and would have gone for one except for the reccommendation!

sonic does the 30 second vibration as well

had mine years and wouldn't know how to brush without one, it makes your mouth ultra buzzy

Braun Oral B rechargeable as I was told by the dentist years back that I was taking the enamel off my teeth with a normal brush.
