Paul,
You may think I am being difficult, but getting information out of you is like getting blood out of a stone LOL.
Please answer the question that might enable Harvey to remember what happened - that question is:
On what date (month and year would be all that was needed) did all this take place, as they can't remember - not because they want to forget, but because you won't give the information to allow them to do this .
Harvey would NOT just say you had oil starvation, he would explain you have had oil starvation because of XYZ, and it is the XYZ that you seem to be leaving out. Obviously if the car was fiddled with by someone else to cause this (in his opinion), then that would be the ONLY set of circumstances he would not honour the warranty.
When the repair work was carried out, where was this done?

I don't know ANY of the big names that would let a customer go away with an explanation that Paul has given. There would always be more detail other than "oil starvation". There would NEED to be a detail explanation as to the cause of this (whether it be customer ran the engine low on oil or whatever).

Correct . Harvey genuinely doesn't like an unhappy customer (like most business people ). And if he can get to the bottom of what went wrong, he can attempt to clarify what actually happened. Paul doesn't seem to want this though?

but both builders still wanted to know the answer as it had confused them and didnt like me leaving without an answer
and just to strengthen harveys helpfulness, when he did the upgrade to 330 on my saff it had problems with cutting out and spent ages swapping bits like ecu, chip, map sensor, dizzy, cps etc etc he was on it for ages for what shouldve been a quick easy job for him. turned out to be them poxy connector blocks at the back of the engine he didnt want me leaving unhappy

Ive only just seen this thread. I stopped getting involved in 'Tuna' wars some time back so I didnt realise this sort of stuff still went on. I stay out of GD as much as is possible these days, perhaps a couple of others should do the same. Let your cars do the talking not your keyboard lads .
