my answer was no and reason was explained but here i go again if you didn't read it ALL
I went to SCS for a tune up
They had a saff the owner could not afford the rebuild and had done 8 miles since the build and just sat there
I said i would buy it just for the Ł3k with a exchange or the saff to the RS500 engine
After this was done the RS500 was driven home
to fine in the alignment place on the way home had a massive leak
i rung SCS as it was so late could only deliver back the next day and did leaving the car
After collecting the car 1k run in and set-up 500 miles later the engine had as Harvey said oil starvation but no reason so the rebuild cost me Ł2k

I have just used steve for the saff and he sets up the saffs when i get new ones ok the last 3

Well this post is to sum up would you advice someone to go to SCS

Right so what actually failed on the engine and why did Harvey not fix it under warranty?

my mate got one on his saff rebuild too. had a problem with the block cracking.rang harvey and he took it in and sorted it foc in double quick time.
wasnt his fault it went but he knew it wasnt my mates either.
perfect service imo.
i wouldnt hesitate to use him for any work.never had bad service myself either.

what caused the oil starvation!!! your the one who needs to read posts properley!!
bad oil pump? blocked pick up? or did you just pay another tuner that you rate higher 2k to replace things hoping it will cure the starvation
this supposedly better tuner should of told you exactly where harvey went wrong...... IF he did

mark at grove is a sound guy but their turn around time is shocking which puts me off and my car seems to be getting slower each time it leaves, d'oh
