Default fiesta 1.6si/ frst shocks??

hi all, i bought a full set of g max shocks and springs for my mk3 fiesta si off ebay at the weekend, i fitted them yesterday and the front seems quite low and lower than the rear?? it seems to rub alot on the front? the guy said they were 50-60 mm drop, i fitted a set of just springs to an xr2i a few years back and it was fine?? the springs and shocks i bought were off a zetec turbo fiesta but wondering if they were from an rst fiesta, does anyone know if the rst has shorter pistons or a lower poundage spring???

cheers scott

Rst is likely to have slightly shorter dampers, but springs will be harder defo not softer.

I think they look good with the front lower than the rear. much better than all the pugs you see with the arse on the floor.

60mm is to much really, i dropped mine 35mm and was perfect. Think the SI is 10-15mm lower than a std fiesta aswell.

If you cut the lip off your archs your probably be alright.

They defo wont be FRST shocks as the SI shocks have a larger shock body so they cant be interchanged.

just the answer i was looking for thanks for that

think i'm going to purchase some 35mm lower springs as it is a bit to low but your right they do look better with a bit of a stance

cheers again scott
