Default hypothetical question

"if" i had an item and it was broken and i sent it back to the shop to get fixed and the hsop gave me another item "to use while you'rs is at the menders" you would assume that the item that was loaned would be returned when mine was ready for collection after being fixed yes?

so "suppose" the item that was supposed to have been sent off for repair was sent back ot my house, directly from the shop, having not been repaired

and i made the shop aware of this small oversight

and then no one came to pick it up?

what would i do then?

all in a "what if scenario" you understand, purely hypothetically

how long would i be waiting for for a phone call to say "excuse me sir, something gones wrong, can we have our machine back please?"

depends on length of repair to how long it would take to come back from repairers as they would still think its at the repairers

Well if the first shop hadnt been paid any money as the item didnt get repaired then i would sent it somewhere else to be repaired, continue to use the loan item and just wait and see if the other place do get in touch for their one back

We bought a 50" plasma, 8 weeks later it had a screen fault so we had it collected for repair / replacement. We were loaned a 26" tv while it was away. 3 weeks later, a new tv turned up! 2 days later currys phoned up and asked if we still have the loan tv, my wife said yes!...... 8 months later, we have a 26" flat screen tv in our bedroom! Never heard from them again!!

i am tracking down nerds on the internet as we type mate looking for solutions to this problem
apparently you need to hook the hdd up to a computer to swap stuff over, but then i'm not sure what software they have invented to do this sort of stuff as you need to partition parts of the hdd for anytime and stuff
