Theres a full build up of it on the performance nova group. The builder broke his escort cosworth up to build it.Would be interesting to see how much it weighed etc.Bet it would be pretty nuts when finished.

Even more so when you cant take it out for a test drive.

Before I bought something like that I would want to be taking it with the seller for an MOT and getting the chance to look under it etc, so you can see what the real issues are before its ready for the road.

The engine is the one thing I wouldnt be too worried about, easiest thing in the world to throw together a working YB, its if things like the rear suspension work is shit that you have a major problem.

Well presumably you would see a lot of money back from the shell, the registation, the interior, the panels, the bumpers etc
So the running gear probalby wouldnt end up costing you too much.

Lots of people start projects and then dont finish them, when its something that is going to take you years your priorities can change, maybe he got his mrs up the duff or something.

I believe that in the build thread on performance nova group page, the builder said that he was fed up of everywhere he went in his escort cossie he was attracting attention, everyone looking etc and unwanted attention aswel as he couldnt park it anywhere,so built this instead. Although tat doesnt explain the shade on the wheels!
