No problem

Say 16inch, used for dry road use on UK roads and a budget of Ł600

It all depends on how wide and what the max diameter you can fit is without altering gearing too much or having clearance issues.

16's your probably looking at Pirelli's

Popular sizes are 210/625-16 and 225/600-16

For summer dry road use look for something like a RS5 and if its wet N3

Just off out in a mo but can carry on later

Thats all i want really

Im just looking for information on what compunds are best in different situations, wet/dry and hot/cold and what ones are more grippy compared to other which may not be as grippy but will last longer.

Its a bloody minefield. which is why some of the questions were fired at you to try and minimise the possibility's.

Every trye manufacturer had a different numbering system

Some soft compounds start with a low number, others with high numbers. Some use letters, and some have just colour codings lol

General info is difficult
