A friend of mine works for the manufacturer

He's been doing lots of testing, and they're really excellent bits of kit! Lots of handy features, and easy to use as well!

Worth having at that price.

Maybe you could ask them if they will let you do a group buy for a few at the same money?

you need to go to the show and chat to the fella on the stand, i'd tell you a story and, seeing as it's past the watershed, i'll recount it now

we were haggling for a while and i returned later in the day to haggle some more and eventually the conversation went a little soemthing like this

bloke 1: i do the sales
bird 1: i do the marketing
bloke 1: and he does the blowjobs <pointing to bloke number 2>
bird number 2 <tott walking p and down the show with boobs half hanging out and tottering about on high heels>: i thought i was the one giving u the blowjobs? <she was a little confused>
and then everyone did a peppa pig and were pmsl

forgot to add, they take own your details and then give you the discount there and then if you buy on the stand

or

he'll give you a discount promo code after he's taken down your details and you can buy it online

the online discount is only valid till this sunday midnight, after which, stu is your best bet

and if you do go to the show and see the bloke, tell him that you've come on the recommendation of me, dojj, the cahp who was giving him a hard time about a further £25 discount this past sunday, i'm sure he'll remember me he might even give yu the extra discount

find out if someone else is going and just jot the details down

they said they only sold 2 on the day they said, so i'm not sure how well they were trying to sell them on the day, perhaps if they were selling a recongnized product more peole would take advantage of the offer eh,which is why i said i'd make some noise here, but still not extra money off

it turned up today and all i can say is that i had so much fun i could have crashed

it's even got a boost gauge on it

shift lights and all the other ususal stuff, although i've not quite worked out how to measure how much power the things got as there is a widget for that too on it

it's a properly cool peice of kit and i'm glad i bought one

thanks to all those who recommended it

http://www.vi-performance.com/

there you go mate

it's like a little tomtom thingy, but you plug it into the obd port (on board diagnostic) and it tells you what the cu is seeing as well as other stuff

for example, it's got a little g-meter in it to tell you 0-60 times, 1/4 mile times and can work out how much power youv'e got if you tell it other stuff

and it's a diagnostic tool as well because it shows up error codes, all you do is look onthe site to tell you what they relate to

plus it's got a boost gauge

and you can plug it into the computer and download stuff from it, lap timers and all sorts of kit i've not yet figured out how to fiddle with

it's even got an ecomony mode in it, as as you can tell, i've been trialing that out as well

if only it had arrived yesterday, i would have traveled to bath today with it all hooked up and see what peak boost it was making and how fast i was actually going and at what revs and how much fuel i was sucking up atfoot to the floor and up all them hills they've got in the countrside

oh yes, something i didn't fiddle with, it can also reset some factory settings, but i didn't want to do anythign with that so i left well alone

the only downsides are that you have so much fun looking, you sometiems nearly crash

and

the wire is a bit tangly when you are driving
