Ive sold a S2 Ecu on ebay witch was in 2 of my old cars one making 230bhp and other making 201bhp. sold the ecu on ebay for a man with a ZVH and now he saying his car wont run properly with it. hes put a despute in ebay saying its a standard chip but i always got told it was a power engineering chip and its always been ok with mine and a mates car also.

Anyone confirm what a PE chip looks like? the man phoned PE and they said they cant confirm its one of theres but wont dismiss it either. tbh they didnt sound to interested in it.

the bloke said hes pulled all the stickers off and now wants a refund. but i have a feeling hes going to put a standard chip back in and send it back and he gets all his paypal money back and i get a std chip put back in

this is shy i have a stack on chipped ecus, i never ever evry sell turbos engines or ecu's on ebay, you always get fucked in the arse

tell em to send it back for refund but specify that you know it was chipped and have pics etc

 

hey your the guy who sold my mate the dodgy chipped ecu on ebay, yes you mentioned it was a power engineering chip but its (NOT), writing power2 on the case of the ecu does not make it a CHIPPED ecu, what sum1 has done is very clever they have made a blue sticker probaly on a pc sayin power 2 and stuck it over the standard chip the markings on the chip say=

and how is he going to put a standard chip bak in? have a look closely at your picture the chip is soldered directly into the board u cant jus pull it out and swap it around,i honestly have no sympathy for scammers like urself who rip off gullible, honest rs turbo enthusiastics.

 

Look mate im not hard up over scamming at Ł50 ecu on ebay

I dont know what the chip says underneath as its always been like that from the day i bought it from a reputable member on here. and run it in 2 Rs turbos i had and another one from a member on here!

i wrote power chip on the front of ECU so i can identify what was the chipped ecu and what isnt!! as i had 2 ecus here!!! but havent touched the chip or the sticker on the actual chip itself which shall we say say run ok for mine and 1 other car.
HENCE why i put this post up about the chip so anyone can confirm its the same as another which the above post confirmed.
of cause you can remove the chip anyone handy with a soldiering iron can (affraid im not)
ive been on this board from the start and dealt with thousends of people and anyone that knows me in person will know im deffo not hard up for Ł50
but for someone who has took all the stickers of a chip and wants to send me back a ecu which will have no stickers/markings on.

The Winner still hasnt explained to me whats up with the chip as the last i heard it was on a rolling road and not fueling properly on a 2.1zvh????

did he actually turn the boost up or just fit the ecu and find nothing happened?
you'll find help here if you want it but ive opend PE ecus and that exactly what you find

 

he wants a chipped ecu that could be set to run a std rs at 15 psi or alsorts to be set up perfect for a 2.1?? fukin hell it could many different specs, its not 1 size fits all

ive had erst chipped ecus that will only allow 15psi , better to ask what its capable of before buyin really

 

Right just spoke to someone and apparantly they remap the motorola chip which is how ahmed does them. ALSO you state its your mate???? look on your different posts (all of 2) and you say its you thats got the ecu?? make your mind up!!!

untill i left Powers last year we woule still use a dymo machine to print a label for chips, as for rst's, Power 1 used to be a bleed valve, actuator & 10 psi for around 155bhp, Power 2 was the same with a chip to get around 175bhp
early converted ecu's had the standard chips reprogrammed, later ones had a chip carrier & a new chip.
easy way to tell is, if the car runs a bar or more of boost, then its chipped
