Default I drove my mates Focus Rs

Hi peeps

I drove my mates Focus rs was impressed with the car to be honest

Ford have done a good job with the power delivery from the engine there's hardly any lag and was quite suprised you put your foot down and she's off

it kind of reminds me of a N/A engine the car will pull in any gear striaght away

the car handles well to be honest quite suprised .if some of you think this car is a modern day Rs turbo think again ...lol..great car

You need that big kick from a turbo car LOL, if you wanted it to be like a N/A engine buy one instead.

agreed. I'd want to know the turbos come on boost and with a FWD that means stupid amounts of torque steer! lol

You can't beat that rush when the turbo kicks hard after waiting half hour for it to spin up LOL

steve

you plank .lol....you do get the rush when it's on boost

let me explain ..........it son boost nearly striaght awayas soon as you put your foot down .........then after a certin rpm the boost comes in harder.. like a big cam on n/a engine

go for a test drive in one you will see what i mean it's hard to explain

put it this way it's nothing like the old turbo engines and to be honest the extra clylinder does help

I've always wanted to put a digital countdown wired in with a little voice, that says turbo spooling 5 secs to full boost..4..3..2.. new passengers shit themselves when it comes on unexpected, imagine the look on their face as it counts down to it
