not sure what forum to put this in as its just really a question for now.

i might be changing the colour of my car to ford imperal red but was wondering if anyone on here can get the paint cheap.
i got a quote of £210 for the following ( cant find list so its off the top of me head)

4L ford imperal red paint
2L primer
2 or 3 L of hardener ( belive its 2L as paint dont have it in????)
3L of laqure
2L of thinners (for paint etc)
and 5L of cheapy thinners for cleaning gun etc

is £210 a lot for this much?

anyhow just wanna know if anyone can get the expensive bits cheap, paint , laqure and hardnener.

yeah but this is the auto tint paint, wouldlike the ICI paint but was told it was about £60 per litre

seems a good price, but then i dont buy my paint in myself

cheap stuff, auto tint, ive had this used on my car b4, its ok but starts fading after a couple of years

i think its the name they put on it after they mix it, might be the make b4 they mix it, dunno?

Dont ya just mean Auto Paint? They are nationwide.

Seems an ok price. That lot ICI would cost ya about 3 times as much

dont be so tight! at the end of the day the paint makes the car imo. if u skimp out on the paint then it ent gonna say a lot about the car

that nice russ, you of all people know the value of saving money, just trying to see if anyone can get me the better paint cheaper than margums do it.
talking of tight, have ya paid andy for the van yet, lol

anyhow, its easy for you to say that mate, you wanna try having what you got with a wife and 3 kids, i havnt got the spare cash like you have to splash around
