Default How to change a wheel bearing????

Its one of them things i have never changed so have no idea and need some direction

I need to change the passenger side rear wheel bearing on my E36 Coupe.

How the hell do i do it

Dunno, I had to do one recently, but I think they need to press the bearing into the hub so I didn't try it myself.

big fuck off hammer and coal chisel

thats all you need, a Socket the size of the bearing would be usefull putting the new one in.




your will have to take the hub off and put it in a vice, thats the hardest part of the job.

sure you ain't mistaking them for the e30 bearings?

or are they the same?

If you warm the hub up by putting it in the oven for a few minutes it will help with fitting the new bearing, it'll probably just drop into the hole or at least push in with minimal effort.
