i cant get my head round things like this. how do these cars end up here.
and in 96' aswel. the car would only be like 8 years old.
so its like now me parking a MK1 focus rs ina bush and just leaving it. wtf
good find tho. id try and claim them. its not like there someones pride and joy is it

You cant just claim them. you can apply for the logbook. but doesnt mean you own the vehicle. You have to have made every effort to track down the owner etc.. been trying to do the same with a mk2 escort van i have found. The last thing you would wanna do if fix it all up, then the owner to come and claim it back

i know whare there is a lotus cortina in a barn too! point is tho (as is probably the case with those)no matter how much you would love to save them,the owner will not sell!

i can tel you the rs 1600i is still like new inside yes wear to drivers seat and green floor that doesnt look good but to tel you the truth i think it could be worth doing, front panel bumper and lamps are well fooked, well for a matter of fact there isnt anything left of the bottom half of the bumper
now then pics and story guy's would you like to know ?????

They have quite clearly been sat there (or somewhere outside) for a long time,I would do a bit of investigation work to see if you can take ownership.Even if they have to broken there is still a few quid in it.Nice if someone did a resto on one of them though.I love it when people come across thing like this.Good man for posting
do you want to have them you could break them and earn more money off them i know i just said a swear word but if ya do restore them fare play hope ya get them mate
