there is more pics to come guy's but i will have to do it on friday sorry

i was driving down a country lane and come accross these 2 rs's the s1 had a mint dash in it but the sun has faded it now and there is a small crack on it

the rs1600i can be saved the trim is still near mint and its clean inside, it was only rotton on the front panel and rear lower panel, it still has the dunlop tyres on the back, also i think the exaust is still factory fitment

looks rotton its fooked pal, even the bonnet is so rusty its nearly snapped in half it still has the engine and box in it, only front recaro seats are missing and alloys the rest is there

One thing this thread shows, is why barn finds are so much better than lane finds, those would still be ok condition if in a barn probably!

That's all they are to a lot of people mate, same as Sierras in general also - no passion or enthusiasm from some. Simply an old car they used to drive from A to B and now old and worthless in their eyes. :poke:

Be amazing if that 1600i has been there 13 years and still looks so good.

I'm 99% sure I recognise the rs1600i, if so used to belong to a chap in Brandon, Suffolk, who worked at OMAR HOMES, and at time had a Kamei body kit on it, he sold it two days later buyer crashed it had it repaired and sold it, as was getting done for no insurance!!
