Evening all.
I'v just been watching a rerun on Dave of Top Gear, its the one where James May goes to see said Ken Block. Now I'm quite a fan of rallying watch the WRC whenever I can mainly to follow what the Fords are up to. What does Ken do? apart from promo vids for DC shoes (always great vids, from skating, bmx and motocross all good) and the Xgames does he compete in rallying as Iv not seen him in WRC, unless Iv missed something, or does America have its own big rallying I dont know about.

He used to co own DC shoes and they sold to Quiksilver. He still designs etc with them. He is in the US rally championship iirc

 

Iirc he owns monster energy drinks company now. Rallying is just a hobby to this guy. He competes in America but when he comes to Europe he gets his arse handed to him. Way out of his league

 

Iv just been reading on the Wik link. Guess Iv been a bit blinkered just following the WRC. Also didn't know he used to own Dc shoes, just knew the made wicked trainers.

So he's more of a rich boy practising all the time than true talent, he is good tho. Would love to see him in the forest of finland or the welsh mountains or the best of them all the monte carlo rally, and see what he like agence the Ford boys and Citreon lads.

it has now been confirmed that American rally star, Ken Block is definitely coming (just type in ‘Ken Block Subaru’ in to YouTube if you don’t know who he is) to our event. He was over last year with Travis Pastrana and John Buffum and he had a ball. He’s bringing both his Subaru rally car and his stunt car with him, so goodness what he’s planning or how we’ll fit him into the rally.

Ken got to know Colin well when Colin was over in the States with Subaru, first at the X Games and then as part of the Subaru America Rally Team, so we’re just flattered and pleased that Ken wants to come back

 

He is a cracking driver.I wish i was as good as him.

 

The dude is a small time Gp N driver and does OK over here. There is not need to shred him saying he gets pwned over there. He isn't trying to be a Gp. A driver.

The guy likes his gymkhana obviously. I'm amazed it hasn't caught on more over in the UK. I've seen some cracking caterham stuff on youboob though.
