What do you call the bit that joins the steering rack to the column??

Default What do you call the bit that joins the steering rack to the column??

On a 4x4 cossie, the black thing with like a knuckle on each end, connects the rack and column???? Was thinking of replacing my rack and also this bit aswell, anyone know if i can still get them from ford???

i know the part you mean cant remeber its nameis it not steering ?????

Ah ok cheers, this is the baby here (pic nicked from eBay), it's listed as steering joint, and there's another listing for steering coupling.

it's called the intermediate shaft and, if it's still available from ford, don't expect to see much change from £110
