I bought one of the TESCO own brand razors, rather than keep forking out ott for wilkinson blades, to my surprise it's even better, I get 5-6 shaves a blade, don't know if good or bad.

You will HATE it at first!!!

it feels heavy... and VERY unweildy...its hard to do this bits under your nose.

Stick with it though. Its quite rewarding to use once you get the hang of it.

I shave with it and then quickly go over with a normal razor as you REALLY dont wanna be just 'quickly' doing anything with the Merkur.

oh and careful changing the blades... I did it half way through a shave once with wet hands and took a NASTY slice right in the centre of my thumb!

oh... and you will need some cool accesories. I bought the brushed ally DOVO stand and DOVO brush to go with it as well... I dont use the brush. It just looks cool

Disagree.... the Wilkinson sword Quattro titanium precision is best razor I have ever used. Thats the one I also have a moment and use after the Merkur for the tricky bits!

its got cooool electric thing on end... and comes with a holder that sucks onto the bathroom tiles. Its coool

How the fuck can a razor have a turbo and go the speed of mach3 anyway

Never have understood the over use of the word turbo! on so many products Apparantly my wifes hairdrier has a turbo also.

Looks like a nice shaver.

I only shave once a week as I cant be arsed. I prefer having stubble/beard anyway. The wife likes it that way which is a bonus.
