done some maybe 5-6yrs ago could generally sell stuff, always came away with £50+ but whats it like now with all the tightness going on!
got some general house hold crap to go, got around 100cd's but i guess the lots not worth £1 might be better doing a tip run

I'd always assume that it was the tight folk having the car boot sale in the first place to get rid of junk they dont want!

ironically i did one about 6 months ago before i moved to my new place, couldnt justify throwing alot of the stuff out.
and to my amazement it was bloody packed! they've got busier due to the recession i think and especially with the country overun with immagrants, they seem to love to buy cheap stuff from car boots.
think i did near on £150.
always makes me laugh when doing it, ¨will you take 20p for this¨ NO ! its 50p, ok 30p, piss off!

it's always worth haggling for some peice of tat you don't really need or want and then being able to walk away when the guy selling it won't give it to you for a £1

I give most of our stuff to charity shops, clothes mainly, funny when you see some grandad trotting down the street in his newly acquired designer gear!!
I would think harder times calls for people wanting more bargains so head to boot sales.

gates opened to traders at 7, general public at 9
so obviously the traders bought all the good bits from one another and then floged them for double and, one point, triple what they've paid for them just a few hours before
everyones in the game for the money, some just can't aford to give a shit about who they make it from
