it's not recognising any satalites, they are there but they are grey'd out rather than blue like they should be

and there is no gps fix
it's been like this for a few days now and when it does pick up a fix, it tends to be about 200 yards away from my actual location

is it broken?

can it be fixed?

etc?

Have you tried resetting it? There is a pin sized reset hole on the bottom of the unit. Press a erm, pin or something similar into the hole for a few seconds and see if that does the trick.

tried that, no luck

tried to update it on the computer, doesn't work

i was hoping there was be a passiontomtom.com website that i could join to find out if there was a fix to the problem

Had EXACTLY the same issue recently.

Hit the reset button on the bottom ...

will try thr reset again then a few tims and hope it works

i'm thinking that all this time in the sunshine has fried soemthing inside it as it got really really hot to the touch

Mine went gay on me today as well, must be the weather
I hit the reset and it came back to life

little hole just above the sd card slot mate

it was ok today, apart from one time when it sort of got lost and thought i was in scotland rather than luton

not that i'm complaining, i'd rather have been in scotland too

i use mine all day everyday and it went shit on me, did a full update on my pc and it was perfect for a month or so.. but the last week or so now it only works for a few hours then goes tits up..
