We are going to attempt the above tomorrow.
We have a 1.0 4 speed fiesta and a complete mondeo doner car, my mate seems to think it can be done with the parts we get from the mondy but i seem to remember you need a few things from a 16v fiesta?
Could someone please clear this up for me as i dont really want to waste my time taking the engines out if it aint going to work

Its easy, you need a 1.6/1.8 zetec, waterpump,sump/pickup , inlet and it will fit in the bay.
If you want full potential you will need rs1800 (130ps) inlet and exhaust manifolds.
There other combos you could use like aftermarket four branch exhaust mani, and early focus inlet etc
On a zetec engined fiesta the management is litreally just plug and play with a DEEP,DEWY or DESK 2.0 ecu. Might need some modding if the fiesta didnt start life with a zetec engine. That is why easier to start with an SI as its litereally just plug and play.

Started work at midday and the engine is in the fez, carbs are on fuel pump is on just gotta get the 4-2-1 manifold, alternator and aux belt and water system on and we should be go.
We used a CVH oil filter as said above, yes it has the esc on the bulkhead.
Running without PAS, i cant see how we are going to get the alternator on myself.
Why do you need to change the water pump?
