at 92k can't see it being an investment
and can't see it being suitable for mods as they are seriously laggy and slow standard
the slowest of all the cosworths in std format

think compared to your sapph you will be very disappointed with this rs500
they were very slow and laggy and handled like a boat and with 92k on the suspension and bushes etc it will probably handle like the titanic just before it sank
I had a couple in the 80's and early 90's always used me sapph instead

if he has spent 10K on it, maybe he replaced the suspension?

I love this perception of oh an rs500 has to be under 50k for it to be worth anything.
Its over 20 years old, The price is cheap anyway.
Its not like he asking 20k for it.

Granted yer if the engine has done that mileage without a rebuild then the price needs to be dropped a tad. Aswell as mentioned that the suspension and bushes could be standard and original. Overall condition is far more important for a car of that age.

I'd take a look at it, You dont buy cars for investment you drive the fookers and spend ur life svings keeping them going
