She's cute and all that but you really need to put a stop the the food craving or your gonna end up with alot of fights in very near future.A good dog behaviourist should be able to teach you how to deal with the situation rather than making gaurds to stop her getting his as this then causes more frustration and anger which then leads to aggression.Imagine what she's gonna be like fully grown m8 if she showing signs of anger already over food!!
Pic of my 2.Male German Shephard and female Alaskan Malamute
She was the same with food but sorted that after about 4 days pmsl.Only had 3 small fights since over trivial things

My two, Poppy is 11 years old now and Rolo has just turned 1 year. They get on really well. You should not have many problems with a dog and a bitch, it is two bitches together that cause a problem. Pleased Boston is a rescue dog so is Poppy

You would need to watch it a few times to understand where im coming from lol but to control her food obsession all i done was anytime she went near his food i would say 'shhhttt' and if she kept going nearer i would say the same with a firm touch to her hind leg or next to her head if head was closer. It's hard work to keep on top of it to begin with but after a few attempts you get it perfect and no need for touch unless they are highly strunge in a situation
Bullet every time i see your sig pic i cant help but smile
Just to add greed is a control thing which in long term is anger against other dog.She is the 1 in control as you have had to use a gaurd to control her and she see's that as just an obstacle to get over to feed her habbit. She is obviously a pack leader when in puppy pack with mum so will act the same until you show her your the leader

got boston from the blue cross rescue centre near me,i was told that they had him checked by a vet and said he has got something there with his back legs but nothing that will bother him until hes older,i know what you mean as ive seen quite a few german shepherds that are really low on there back legs and seem quite stretched out if you know what i mean
P.S cheers mate (elvis)

Watching Ceaser Milan 'The Dog Whisperer' has became my new hobby lol.Learned alot from him and how dogs behave in a pack.Even a dog as a pet see's the family as a pack so you and your gf need to be calm assertive pack leaders and be consistant with everything, doing everything the same. The magic word 'shhhttt' is all i say nowadays to control both them,no name calling,no use of word 'no' and a quick touch if they get too nosey of another dog and at same time 'shhhttt'

Sort the problems out now - or you never will!
You can't have two large dogs who think they are leaders or you will be letting yourself in for a nightmare! Two dogs are hard work unless you are in control.
I have 2 (staffy cross and a lurchur) and my house is tiny (1 bed room) they have to behave, there just isnt the room to much about. It extends to when they are out being walked (which we do alot becuase of the space) and they are so good now on and off the lead thanks to Cesar!
Little things like the 1st person through the door going outside is the pack leader - you have to make them wait and assert your control
Good luck - lovely looking dogs
Alex
