serious question- i know they exist as i had some years ago but cant find any for sale now

any body know who sells left handed/ anti clockwise drillbits??

iv just been on EBAY and put in left hand drill and they came up

use a left hand drill bit for drilling the hole in a broken stud and somtimes the stud will come out while it is being drilled.

Surely if it will come out when being drilled it can't be that tight because as soon as the drill bit gets a hold of anything it should cut off whatever it's biting into? Therefore a normal drill bit with a stud extractor should be fine?

mortice cutters? square cutters with a drill bit inside giving a nice square hole.

beef
trouble with stud extractors is that it puts pressure on the wall of the broken stud making the problem worse and nine times out of ten it will snap in the hole or just not grip

i know what your saying but it has worked a for me in the past, must be something to do with the heat and vibration
