does anyone know the bhp figure for the above car, mates picking up one today and cant find out what they put out :S

getting confilicting info on the net

one says 120 the other says 140??

115 i think, thats what my m8's SXi made standard.

arent the sri and sxi models different? they are in the corsa range iirc??

cant find a definate answer on this one lol

125bhp in the 53plate ones. The facelifted 1.8s with the VVT engine like I have in mine put out 140bhp.

i drove a 1.8 140 bhp new shape one i had on hire a while ago and it was that numb i genuinley thought something was wrong with it!!!
nice cars but much better with the diesel engines.
to be honest it surprised me as in the early 90's i had 3 cavalier sri 1.8 and 2.0 petrols ranging from 105 to 130 bhp and they went like f$%Ł!!!!!!!

Ditto my 1.8 VVT feels flat as fuck. Economical though for a petrol...
