Its not nature at all. Yes its nature when they eat other fish in the wild, but its not 'nature' when you buy a gold fish and stick it in with piranhas! Thats just wrong imo. But hey, what ever floats your boat mate.

When you next go shopping get some mackerel or tuna in, or if you eat fresh fish cut cut abit off for the boys.

Yes but i dont have a live pig wriggling around in my bap mate.

Pigs/cows/chicken etc are killed in a humane way, or should be anyway. Feeding live animals to things is just wrong, sadistic, and just sick in my opinion. I wouldnt run around the fields chasing a pig around with a pot of apple sauce and some paxo.

There is no humane way of killing anything FACT.

They are bred to die and be eaten, how humane is that?

Thats very true in fact. But id rather be killed instantly with little or no pain, than being eaten alive by a crazy baboon or something similar, picking bits off me as and when it pleases.

See where your coming from fella, and i agree to a certain extent. i didnt only get them so i could sit and get some kind of sadistic buzz watching them tear other fish to bits. i have always had in an interest in piranha, and have always wanted some, but i wont lie, i hold my hand up, as i said, that is part of the appeal, to see a preditorial animal do what it does, if you dont agree with that, i can honestly understand why fella. i wont only be feeding them live fish, they will be getting a varied diet, but i will put live fish in from time to time to keep there preditorial instinct. i have spoken to a lot of people, not just on here, and have been reaserching it on the net, and most feed them live fish as part of there diet, some agree with it, some dont, which can be seen in this thread. personally, i wouldnt put mice etc in as some people do, but fish eat fish, its in all fish, some of my bigger tropical fish ate some of the smaller ones, its not just piranha. as i said mate, i can see your point, and genuinly do understand what your saying and appreciate where your coming from

babys are about Ł6 each mate, they seem to go up in price the bigger they are. wor lass paid Ł40 for the pair of my smaller ones from my local aquatics place, and i got a good deal on the three bigger one's, paid Ł50 for the three, but that was a private sale, not from a shop.
