Please move to the correct room if need be, but I could do with some answers quick!
Just got my 4x4 saph on the road today, and just been to take it out for the first time, but its not boosting at all. The car is due to go to msd this thursday, so would it be best to leave it for stu or will to look at it? (I'm gonna be driving it from scarborough) Also, this could all be the same problem, I finished re-wiring my fuel pump today,(new 044 aswell) and my fuel gauge isn't working, neither is my sub, and also my rear lights are on. Could this be down to a bad earth. I earthed the pump in the centre of the rear panel where the lights are. Please help, I dont have long to get it sorted! Before thursday! Thanks

Please describe exactly what you have done on your rewire as the amal valve is powered by the fuel pump relay and i now get the feeling you have bypassed it somehow?

What do you mean by NO boost? Not enough, or literally none?

Thanks for the reply stu. Absolutely no boost at all. I bought a re-wire kit off 'prometheus' off here, and followed the instructions, although i did get a bit confused when i had to cut 2 wires off the old relay holder, and join them using connectors supplied in the kit to the new relay. In the instructions it said there should be a thin black wire, and a thin black with blue tracer. But my car had black with blue tracer and a kind of green with blue tracer. It didn't say in the instructions, but Should I have cut the remaining 2 wires that were in the old relay hoder and fuse,or wouldn't this matter?

Ok thanks anyway. The remaining black and red wires that are left in the old relay are allegedly related to the amal valve, so I somehow need to use these in my new wiring.

re connect all the wiring and try it..

as stu said ive never cut anything on the std wiring to do it,

iirc the fuel pump, iscv, and amal valve all share the same 12v feed

Ive no experience with that kit but hope it doesn't use the original relay as thats normally the part that drops the most voltage so would be a pointless rewire. As a result im unsure what you have had to do to make things go so wrong but a call to the supplier Monday should see you back on track id expect.

We run a new live direct from battery + all the way to a relay in boot, then from relay to pump under tank. We activate this relay using the old pump positive that we have just removed, via the factory fuel pump connector in boot.
