as per bloody usual , ive bought a car and within 2 weeks of having it theses a problem .
the car is a W reg saab turbo convertible . its a 1.8 turbo .
i drive it and when i boot it and the turbo is kicking in , i change up and then ease off , look in the rear view and theres loads of smoke . if i drive easy and change before say 3k revs and dont let the turbo kick in hard its ok.
so when im accelarating it doesnt smoke , just when i let off . hope im explaining this properly . it doesnt smoke when its idleing . and ive rev it on the spot , not too hard but up to say 4k revs and its ok .
is the turbo fooked

the seals in the turbo shaft? yes. the turbo would need stripped down and reconditioned. i had mine done 3 times before i gave up and just bought a new turbo.not a problem since.
