So...if you had 40k for a car, which one of these would you pick?

He says its mint, and it needs restoring, which one of those two totally conflicting statements is the honest one?

Genuine question, have you ever had a decent test drive in one?

I ended up with a 996 turbo and love it , doesnt look as flash as a Ferrari but goes just aswell and much more useable.
I saw that car as well! high mileage... but otherwise WHAT A BARGAIN!

Looked amazing!

Your 996 would DESTROY a 360!!! it wouldn't see what way you went mate!

They are more 'special' to drive and own though

Yeah, the looks are the least best thing about a 911. If it's looks you're after then deffo look elsewhere but you seriously have to drive one before you dismiss them, absolutely devastatingly good on the road, and everything just 'feels' so nice to use and so properly engineered

I'm Waaaaaay ahead of you....

I'm trying to get Sean to buy it, Stu to restore it and Martoon to tune it....

Then I'll just nick it off Sean whenever I like for £0.00

Its a flawless plan

Drives like a dream m8 takes good few miles to warm up right though so you have to take it easy for a bit.

I got no idea what type of inj system its got though
and at around 300-320 bhp its plenty fast enough ,specially when you add how busy the roads are etc

I was looking round this only last weekend, it's in Leeds at JCT600 isn't it?? It does look stunningly brutal when you're up close to it, the width of the rear tyres is incredible

I somehow don't believe you!

I dont think ANYONE with 40k to buy a good car would have a saff animal. People who have fast saffs slowly build up over the years not just whack down 40k!

Out of the two choices I'd choose the Ultima, purely becasue I would want to go as fast as possible and not be handed my arse, even by other super cars.

It's been said already on this thread that a decent power cossie will out perform a 360 so why bother going there...if its for the glamour and the package then thats fine...at least you're honest.

I personally want as much speed and power per £ of my money spent. So would have to be the ultima (in black).
