I agree, but I can put up with the bad times aswell as the good, because anything that goes wrong with the car is my fault, because I made it what iti is.

All I am saying is that they are faaaaaaar from the ultimate driving machine. I would rather have say, an Evo over an Escos purely because of what they are out the box.

Gotta say...i am really starting to think other wise....i loved escort rs turbo's till i got one!

dont get me wrong its the fastest car ive ever had second best looking and the one i care for most!

but now im thinking of goin up in the world like cossie im starting to think other wise! example

saff cossie around Ł6.5k for a G/H reg

nissan 200sx T reg Ł6k both got rwd +4wd for saff both got 2.0 16valve turbo engines!

only thing that keeps saff price up is thats its engine is made by cosworth!

but thats a big price to pay just for the name of an engine!

so once im done with the rs and got some dosh saved!

200sx here i come!

thing is. a standard cossie does about 150MPh right?
that really is quite fast..

i think its just that you guys have got used to the power..

if you got a 300bhp cossie, when was the last time you got
'blown away' on the road?? (by a car that aint another tuned cossie?)

ALSO. Evos. yeah out the box they are better..
BUT they are 10-15 YEARS newer.. im sure the Focus cos
will be a hustler when it arrives...

but FOR me, nothin beats the Esc cos.. but then,,, i dont own one. lol

but the point still stands G reg against T reg for the same money!

and i have seen infront of my eyes a hugly powerful 200sx! so i wouldnt say they are more tuneable...they just probly cheaper to tune!
