When the AA tow you with a Tow Bar you have to sign a form to say any damage to the car while being towed can not be held responable to the AA.
So the womans shit out of luck!!

I wonder who is actually liable for this? The same would happen if your towing a trailer, and unless there are signs saying you cant go through towing trailers then surely the council should be responsible? That said, you'd have thought the AA man would have used his brain in this case.

Same here, i got towed when my cat collapsed and we were motoring down the dual carriageways at 50ish. He said you don't need to do anything other than steer.

With this clip though it was on the news and the AA driver had asked the carpark attendant if it would be ok to go through first, obviously a breakdown in communication(excuse the pun).

Also to add, although not the AA my mate had a crash and was recovered on a flat bed. They didn't take care and made more damage dragging it up on the winch. They contributed towards the repair.

I would be very surprised if someone told me The AA are not liable for damage as a result of their actions!

the carpark had to pay, ithink it was at an airport,the aa bloke told them that he was towing and not to put barrier up,it crushed under neath the car,my mrs works for aa
