Default what good value for money pressure regs are there for cossie?

next on my list is a uprated pressure reg what options have i got and good value for money?

i thought standard was the best?unless you going to aerogrip the fuel pipes?

What do u think of the Sard units stu? For a none YB, would it be worth considering seeing as you don't already have a weber unit as std?

The pressure reg isn't the problem, so lonmg as it has suffecient flow for 500bhp from the pump it will regulate to whatever it is set to.

That is incorrect. If your fuel pump is big enough you can have issues if the regulator can't bypass the excess.

or if it doesnt raise rate correctly, nomatter what its "set" to, it will still be lincorrect on full boost.

I'll have to think about that one, but you would have to be seriously over pumped to do that.

It won't be incorrect on full boost in Roosie's case as he is having it mapped with the reg on that he is using, hopefully on 9th feb.

but, you increase fuel presure 1:1, so you still have the correct pressure on boost.

u would have to be a fool to map it at less, with an inconsistant reg.

The issue is you can't get the fuel pressure LOW enough if you're over-driving the regulator. Try it and see.

only piece of jap junk ive ever owned and works fine

think you missed the point mate

never owned jap car before and will be the only part that is jap on my car and works great
and yes i have mucho jap stuff around my home like the laptop im using right now ..doesnt mean im gonna use it as a fpr though does it lol
