Default CVH inlet manifold on Zetec head...

As above, just wanted to know how the CVH inlet manifold fits the Zetec head??! Is is a straight fit?! does it require a spacer/adaptor plate made?!

also are there any benifits from using the CVH inlet??! personally think the CVH inlet looks alot better...

cheers for any help

rich, you need an adaptpr plateto the head and a spacer plate between the 2hgalves of the inlet as the zetec head is taller!!
Ian had some a while back but sold em

best bet if u r gunna make em is go get a cvh inlet gasket & a zetec gasket draw round both on the same peice of card & it should be self explanitory from there!

& the spacer plate to raise the manifold up to go over the Zetec engine is piece of piss as it just needs to be the same both side! Ian howell managed to fuckeven that bit up!

I dont make them plates sorry m8! Easy enough to do, 1hr on CAD and get it laser cut. However the CVH ports and the Zetec ports are very different and it cant be good for airflow.....as you can see:

Nott sure about the PM, ill look now m8!

The CVH and Rover plenum cant be mated no!!!

Most people just use the CVH one anyway and dont think about the airflow, seems to work, but isnt right imo!
