Hello,
Thanks for your mail response, I must tell you that i'm convinced with the price (£66.00) and the condition of the Momo steering wheel, I have a reputable shipping company (AGENTS) who will come and pick it up from your location as soon as we seal this transaction...Like i told you earlier that i will be paying youin the UK pound's cheque, it occurs that a Client of mine in the United Kingdom is owing me some funds (£3,500) and he has decided paying his debt in cheque.
I will instruct him to issue the cheque for you and as soon as the cheque clears, you will deduct the cost of the item (£66.00) and send the Remaining balance will be send to my shipper via Western Union Money Transfer for immediately shipping arrangement of the item from your location.
Though i can't predict your mind to know whether you are convinced with the above conditions but i must tell you that i am really interested in buying the item and only by this means can i get you paid for it. Furthermore, if you have reached a conclusion and it occurs that the above conditions as explained is okay by you, Then do get back to me with your information (FULL NAME, CONTACT ADDRESS AND PHONE NUMBER) so that i can forward it to my Client to issue the cheque for you as soon as possible.
Hope to hear from you soonest....
Best Regards,
james larry...

Cash the cheque and see what happens
Put it into an account with no allowed overdraft etc, when it clears take all the cash out and see what happens when they try to get it back?!

Chris the same thing happened to Kev selling his Lotus.
Tell them to send a cheque. Then if he does tell him you never got it.
In 2 months cash the cheque, then give me £500 cash.
That's better.
Tell him he can't have the wheel, until he sends another cheque.
Tell him to put the checque in the name of I.M.Atwat

what they do is send u a cheque from a western union bank, it clears, u send the goods and the difference cheque and the moment your clears, they then recover the western union cheque (they can do this upto a month after it has been presented apparently)so u are not only the goods down but also the balance of the cheque they sent.

Just deposit the money and keep promising you have posted the remaining amount to him with the steering wheel, see how long before the money dissapears again!
Send him £0.01 then say sorry you must have made a mistake to try and drag it out past the 30 day limit - there must be a way you can scam their £3,500!!!

My mate was offered a part in a scam like this.
What do they get out of it you ask???
The cheque you are sent is from a book of stolen bankers cheques that were taken from a well known bank last year. The bank concerned did not have a record of the serial numbers of the books taken due to an admin error.
They have to wait until a cheque is presented before they can investigate it to see if it is genuine or a stolen one.
The money clears into your account as they have to honour all cheques because it takes a while for them to complete their investigation.
Once they realise they cheque you presented was stolen they will come knocking on your door. You tell them what you did, you'll be arrested for money laundering.
As much as it looks like an easy way to scam some money........ unless you can open a bank account without it being linked to you, I wouldn't risk it.
