clearence problems with fitting bd16 cams in heads? anyone

Default clearence problems with fitting bd16 cams in heads? anyone

my engine builder just rang me saying hes fitted my bd16s to my head but the cam loabes are VERY close to the cutouts in the head he cant even get a feeler gauge inbetween, is this a common problem anyone?

He must be able to get a feeler gauge in there!!

he reckons he cant but im going to go over there in morning and take pics as hes talking about machining parts of the head. he has a good reputation about here aswell and he done lots of these cam types in yb but this ones just really tight

surely if he cant get a feeler gauge in then there must be contact?

ive had wilder cams than bd16 in early heads with no probs , they look very tight but they are ok
