I'm surprised they are releasing it, they normally with hold potentially offensive numbers.
They stopped issuing SN07 numbers "as it may cause offense"??

dvla only sell unissued plates so the price you see is the price you pay.
when you see plates for sale with brokers they add there commission to the price the seller wants to there is room for offers etc and if you go too low they just ask the seller if they will accept a lower price

my dad was on the phone contiuously from 8 till 10.30 to get his plate, he timed himself and was doing 7 calls a minute for 3 hours and 15 mins.

Well thanks to this thread ive managed to get through within 10 minutes and find a plate and secure the deal
Its a bit cheesy but I think I would get more then what I paid for it.
Its for my Ferrari F355. The plate reads F3 SSX ( F355 X )

Theres so much to choose from, but all the good ones seems to have sold up very quickly. Im happy with that though and wont bother with any more as its easy to get carried away.

Just keep an eye on the DVLA SOM site of get on the mailing list http://www.dvlaregistrations.co.uk/home/en/Informed/ or look out for their ads in mags.
All the prefixes are now released (last three were Gs, Ds and Fs), so the 09s will be next. IE XX09 XXX
