alrite people , just wondering what tuners out there can map OFAB for a zetec turbo and how much id be looking? also will it be alrite to run it in with out having it mapped? say 3 psi, not above 3k ?

The only two people I am aware of who can map OFAB is Stu from MSD and Amhed who usually works out of grove garage.. i understand that this is because the equipment to map this is very expensive.
The price I believe to write a map is expensive as its a very limited market. (Amhed charges a lot to map OFAB, no idea about STU)

I would never run a turbo car for a long period of time without being mapped unless I no longer liked or cared about it.

somene told me a while ago ahmed's kit got stolen but that could be bullshit or out-of date

 

both of them can map efi. ofab is getting old and amhed does not really do it any more.about 250 to get it lived mapped iirc jim that story is years out of date lol

 

you would also need a base map to suite the zetec what map sensor do you have and what injectors have you got?

havnt yet got it together engine is at my mates place being built now , its only low spec ! but after my engine went pop i was only left with the turbo bits ( block has a de-comp on it and head is drilled and tapped ) i think i best call both tuners and talk over the phone , thanks for the info tho people
