Torrent share rating, wtf!
Before we start I'm not mentioning illegal downloading or sites where such things take place, this is simply a technical question based on the process of using torrents.
I've had a warning about my share ratio, but the problem is whenever I leave a torrent open after downloading it nobody ever fucking wants it so I dont get any upload
So how the fuck am I supposed to better my upload ratio if no fucker wants what I've downloaded?

when you download something 9 times out of 10 its something someone else wants, hence the higher seeds and also the reason why you pick them because they download faster.
So after the file has downloaded leave it, it will carry on seeding and thats what puts up your ratio's

I've heard one of the best ways to get your ratio up is to invest in a seedbox...

another thing, its a dedicated music site I use so if I cant find something and I then upload so it is available does that go towards my share ratio or not?

Alot of sites say to leave them seeding for 72 hours or back to a ratio of 1.1 what ever comes first

If u want to know what people want - stick to something really popular like something in the charts. I guess that your machine might not be allowing uploads for one reason or another.

Its not the machine, when I use demonoid for stuff it uploads fine.
I think whats killing me is the amount of seeders, there's currently 294 of us on one file, so if someone does download it how much am I going to upload out of that lot?!
