Braking problem with a mk6 Escort

Please help guys!
When I brake in my mk6 Escort, (only when fairly hard and above 50-60mph) the car pulls to the right, leading me to think that the left calipers not working as well for whatever reason. I've bled the caliper and still the same, had the piston out the caliper and its not seized at all, looks brand new. I'm putting a new flexi hose, and the caliper back on tonight, and re-bleeding it.
I'm now thinking master cylinder, or brake compensator valves? Do these have them for the front? It's a mk6 Escort, NO ABS. 1.6 Zetec
Cheers

Sounds exactly like our problem - turns out the flexis collapse inside so you press the pedal and activate the brake. Then the fluid can't retreat back up the pipe and the caliper stays semi-on.
New flexis "should" sort it so long as the calipers and discs themselves are ok.

Caliper and disc and pads are mint. I've bought a new flexi so fitting that tonight, cos when I clamped the old one, it starts to weep ever so slightly from where I clamped it, so kind of gave it away...
I'm a bit reluctant to go looking at suspenion stuff cos it passed an MOT a few weeks ago, which I know doesn't mean a lot, but the fact the piston wouldn't go back in when connected to the brake line, tells me somethings wrong with the brakes!
