Suggestions for insurance company?

Bro's missus needs cover for her modded 1998 Escort GTi. She's 25 and getting quotes of £500 which seems a smidge high.

Can anybody suggest companies she can try?

I think my misses is with tesco, And i'm sure she don't pay that much at 24 on a 1997 civic vti v-tec. ( lots of think's / maybe's there) lol
