as you can tell, the air con conderser rad is a bit fooked, so i decided to get it changed
4 hours it took me yesterday to remove the front bumper, whoever decided it was a good idea to design it like that is an arse
and whoever said it was easy in the haynes manual obviously didn't have to deal with rusted in bolts and general road shit in the wheelarches
and this morning, from around 8.30 till around 11.30, me and my mate fucked around getting the pipes off and on again
the conderser is a veritable peace of piss to change, al loyu need to is remove the 2 13mm bolts that hold the pipes in place and the 2 8mm bolts that hold the ocnderser in place and swap out in in, 5 minutes
the other pipe however was a complete pain in the arse to do, hence my other post about how to get the fucker apart
eventually i ground it away with a dremmel to pop the spring out, but then it wouldn't go back in again, so we lubricated it using copiuos amounts of sealing oil and it popped straightin
not so clear cut was the location for the reciver/dryer, which has had the boltingbracket welded on just a little it off to what it should have been, s this does no longer align up with everything else when you bolt it up as it kinks one of the main feed pipes, so lots of drilling and tapping later, one of the bolts goes in
and i've still got to put the wheel arch back in again, but iv'e got to put a clip in that holds th epipes in place first, which you now can't fit becaus the pipes are in there
sometiems i think it would have been easier to remove the wing as the access is right up by the indicator

but it's all fitted and working as it hsould do now so roll on the summer and the climate control

Rottweilers dont have fists ![Surprised](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/bigcry.gif)
I know, were you trying to fit even bigger brakes to your standard mondeo with a blue grill?
Or fitting a chute for those occasions when APs just arent man enough to cope with the rediculous speeds the monedo is capable of?

the grille's blue because i've fitted it to see if it would fit (post and pre 03 stuff doesn't match apparently) and i can't rememebr where i've put the original one
it'll be much better when i put the silver wings and blue bumper on![Top](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/smile011.gif)
but on a more serious note, without the bumper, there is a very noticable difference in pushing along when you are doing sort of 60 or 70 mph and you lift off slightly, the car does noticably slow down much faster than it used to
but never fear, i'll be fitting the bumper come monday, but then again, i might fit the blue one instead
