nick, you're one to talk, i remember how fast you went round in my sierra
since you know that particular section of track, can you see what i mean about staying left and indicating? and also if i slowed behind the 911 i could not then overtake as i don't have the power to pull past

)and yes, i know exactly where you mean. you can stay left and go flat out through the kink and if they got scared they should have moved to the right and slowed

Myself with Kenny (MSD) passengering
Hope you enjoyed the lap mate

SiB with Robin as passenger!

What an awesome time was had over the weekend! Consistent 8min 30s laps with 2 similarly powered cars was a lot of fun!
Im sure when we go back the cars will have another 50bhp or so and better brake setups to help take a bit more off our lap times!
Hopefully those people who had laps out with myself and Si enjoyed them

Wow, not long been back and all i can say is, "I'm Knackered." The UK roads have drained us to death, same horrid feeling as every year when we are greeted with ques of standing traffic. Doh., we are home.

That was a great break indeed, shame the ring was so damn busy but it was worth the 2 day wait when we finally got on Tuesday night as it was totally dead, but alas, just my luck, the chose that time to do lots of barrier repairs and close two really fast sections down to a cars width with cones while they did it, so i still didnt get a single incident free clear run all weekend, but i learnt some nice new lines and improved upon my PB so im well happy all in all, even if i was a little down on Saturday about the bloody que's.
Will i be going again? Dont know, the que's really spoiled it, as when you finally got out, there were between 2 and 5 incidents every lap, the place really is gettig spoilt now as its just too busy.
That said, i was out lap after lap on Tuesday night and really enjpoyed it again... hard to call.
High point of the trip, finally getting up the bottle to brake after the crest of a really fast section and finding out the car will turn in at silly speed and shaved great time from my laps.
Low point: Kenny had an off and ran his car down a barrier, causing him a load of headaches to get the car home. (Hes trailored it back and will be home with it tonight.
)
Nothing much else to report, the M5 was as good as i expected, yet despite my efforts, the brakes wont stand up to the ring in the hands of a driver like myself who still needs them to work damn well on corners he doesnt understand yet,
so i warped the damn things. Oh well, only cost about grand to renew them all the week before i left. Shall do them again soon... doh. Must learn to drive.
The Off roading was hillarious, SiB should be along soon with some comedy pictures and videos to add. Ha Ha... will say no more. What a howl we had.

Gracy... Ł100 was a bargain for your crash repairs i thought.

Was great to see all the old crew there and also to meet some new faces and names. Hope to see you all at a venue soon.

Cheers Dan! Evo 8 MR FQ-340
These others are all i've managed to find so far.... hopefully there'll be some more on the various Ring photo websites!
Its my new toy - only had it for 2 weeks and already its done 2000miles, 20laps of the Ring and has been faultless
Hopefully find some side on pics showing it on its white wheels (track wheels with R888s of course!)
Sketch It was the wheels I wanted to see mate, car looks lovely but I was interested in a side on shot

Glad Si's went so well barring the wheel too!
Looks mental on those bright rims!
