If you depend on your licence for your job, especially if you use your licence for work then they will look at the story in a slightly different light.

Just make sure you grab yourself a duty solicitor (free) when you attend court who will put your case over as fairly as he can for you.

Just got home from going to court and they've given me 6 points and Ł205 fine. I got a letter from my empoyer saying what a model employee I am and how I am sometimes to do overtime at unsocialable hours. That was for doing 105.7 on the Motorway.

 

my boss was clocked and average speed was 110mph but because the road was quiet he got away with 3 points and a Ł60 fine.......

i'll second that over Ł200 less than what i had to pay to the money grabing cunts for the same offence , well 0.7 mph slower!

 

Must just have an honest face I guess. Showed up an hour early smartly dressed and was very apologetic. Basically said there's no excuse for what I did and I just got carried away, the roads were dry and clear.
