Did mine other day, first in about 6 years, bit dirtier than that

Was a fcuker to boot up afterwards, so dunno what that's about lol.

i do it about once every 5 or 6 months
but i don't open it up and it's up in the air rather than tucked away in a corner

carnt have anything blocking the heatsinks up and overheating

That was bad, compressed air is no good for that much dust, it will just go in the air and settle back down hoover is the only way, just dont make contact with the hover noozle and the pc parts and you'll be fine

no idea what mines like. Cant be bothered to look and dont actually care if it runs better after a cleanIm getting the scythe 5th year anniversery heatsink soon anyway. 10.7 decibels

I swapped my mobo over a few weeks back and i can say for sure my pc was a lot worse than that.

i used to repair pc's that were from workshop/garage enviroments - i used to blow them out with an airline, some were right dirty fuckers!

I read this thread about half hour ago, and knew that I'd been meaning to do mine for a few weeks now. Just went down my shed, compressed air can and cleaned all mine out wasn't too bad this time round, cleaner than I expected but even so, needed doing ! Thanks for the push to do it !

That's like new! I work in IT at a salt factory so you can imagine some of the pc's, i'll try and get some pics tomorrow.
