It actually leads to LESS THAN no violence what so ever.
If you took 20 people who were about to have a fight (all of whom have had no drugs) and gave them all MDMA, you'd find most of the no longer wanted a fight.
Most common drug for that is alcohol

Changing its status from illegal to legal would remove that problem, it would also lead to tax revenue being generated that could be used to further tackle such issues.
The downside of legalising it though, is that there would almost certianly be a MASSIVE increase in its use.
With proper education that would be no bad thing, but sadly proper education and the british public arent two things you hear together!

totally true chip the rave scene killed the soccer hooligan movement if you look back it all stopped at that point watch rise of the foot soldier that gives a little insight and also when we were ravers you hated "beer monsters" the two never mixed peace and unity was banged on about for the duration it was true until about 94

NO!!!!!, my life is good ive just past my a/c exams at college and on to a good thing at work, i still dabble with a little MDMA every so often, but only on mad nights out into london or brighton.
Gotta agree with Jonny B on anything relating to this, that man knows his onions!!!
12 pints, I haven't a clue what I drink in a night.. I normally have a few pints then go onto shorts. Back when I used to drink loads, I prob would do 12 or maybe more pints through an all day/night session!

Most of the "drug takers" in this thread in real terms are probably doing the equivalent of drinking a couple of pints once a month
Most of them will take a measured amount for a relatively moderate effect and have probably NEVER "binged" or "maxed out" on them, Where as YOU (by your own admission) have in fact drunk and drunk until you are "wrecked"
If you ever actually have to rely on your inteligence to fund your cars rather than your dad, I suspect event the XR2i your name refers to might be a bit ambitious a target to set yourself

Yeah some one slated heavy drinkers, i agreed 12 pints is too much, well for me anyway and even for a hardcore drinker will fuck your liver up.

I never said you wouldnt earn good money, just implied you wouldnt if you had to rely on your inteligence to do so, there are LOTS of jobs out there that are very well paid that dont even require average inteligence.

no side effects or depression for me and god know I had enough back in the days...........Linford Film studio's, Labyrinth dream all nighters, Bagleys etc etc when pills were pills and tunes were tunes
Not had any for years though........tend to drink my self under the table, start a fight then finish it off with an Axe from me shed ROFL

when i was younger i decided that the clubbing "E" route was the way to go, when i use to go out with my mates, on the beer 9 times out of 10, i would end up in a fight, not because i went out looking for it, but because i was young and didnt know when to keep my mouth shut, then when i went into the clubbing scene, did ibiza, festivals clubs countless times and not once got into any trouble and can count on one hand the amount of fights i saw and couldn't say for certain that they were uctually people under the influence of "E" and that was over a period of about 4 years. No idea how many i had taken during that time, but to say i kicked the arse out of it is a bit of an understatement, i am now 27 and have not touched them for years, but it is definatelly not something i regret
