If you were to read later in this thread you would see it seems that Harvey gibbs seems to actually prefer the GT turbos.
As you seem to be making assumptions about the level of peoples knowledge I would say that being able to read a compressor map in the first place would be a good qualification to comment on this thread... and i'm pretty sure that rules you out!

I would also like to point out the that the GT30 was also chosen for me as a means of response/drivibility over out right power/top end. I do not expect to make much more then 475bhp where as the T4 would have given more power and for a higher/longer rev range

Are we comparing like for like? We know the GT you have chosen has a 76.2 mm comprssor wheel. What size is the T4 wheel? Should we infact be comparing it with a 35 or 40?
