Harvey hasn't posted anything on this thread and I do/did not speak on behalf of Harvey. A GT30 was chosen for my engine as we felt it would suit me better. I only commented that Harvey gave me the impression that has wasn't as enthusisatic as Mike is over the roller T4. No direct comparison or judgement was made between the turbos.

If you trust your tuner you are best to go with what he advises imo as you should have more recourse if something does not reach your expectations etc.

I would also like to point out the that the GT30 was also chosen for me as a means of response/drivibility over out right power/top end. I do not expect to make much more then 475bhp where as the T4 would have given more power and for a higher/longer rev range

Are we comparing like for like? We know the GT you have chosen has a 76.2 mm comprssor wheel. What size is the T4 wheel? Should we infact be comparing it with a 35 or 40?
