how much does this cost oh does it depend on size of the engine etc?

The last crank I got done cost around £60 and that was for a 1.6 CVH.

where was that done mate as im only from wakefield not far from you, do you get shells with it? if not where do i get them oversize then

I got mine done at a place called Blands in Barnsley 01226 284951. The shells cost extra. I got them to do the crank and supply the shells.

All depends on how bad the crank is to be honest. Sometimes you can just get away with polishing them.

theres a few ridges but not that bad but dont wanna risk polishing it

yeah im doing that it had a rebuild about 5k ago, and got reciept for everything oil pump etc, but the crank has'nt been reground but i would have just for peace of mind

If it's been rebuilt 5k ago and needs new shells already there's a problem somewhere.

thats why me and my dad are gonna do a full rebuild, he just blames me as usual
